Emily combines her love for writing, green business, and sustainable food systems as BC Green Business' Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Her work is informed by her varied background, which includes everything from aquaculture research and municipal recycling to organic farming and outdoor retail. She is inspired by the ways that a green economy can mitigate climate change, regenerate the land, improve community resilience, and achieve social justice.
Jarret is passionate about the green economy and motivated by creating positive change. After acquiring a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, he split time consulting for the automotive recycling industry and developing sustainability programs for the hospitality industry. Since joining Synergy and BC Green Business in 2020, he has broadened his sustainability consulting to work with businesses from diverse sectors across British Columbia.
A green business expert with over 15 years of experience working with communities and businesses, Jill has developed comprehensive programs that have reached multiple communities with measurable impacts. As Executive Director of Synergy Foundation and CEO of Synergy Enterprises, she has helped countless businesses shift towards a low carbon, sustainable future.
