Chris Halliburton is Professor of International Management and Marketing, and the former UK Director, at ESCP Europe. He has degrees from the universities of Durham and London School of Economics (LSE) and has lectured at London Business School and Cass Business School, London. He has taught on a number of MBA and executive education programmes in different countries. He has acted as external examiner on the MBA programme at Cass Business School, (City University, London) and on the PhD programme, University of London.
Professor Halliburton has considerable experience of strategy and marketing consultancy in numerous consumer and industrial markets for such clients as Unilever, Gerber, Alliance Boots, Caterpillar, Xerox, IBM, as well as work for government. He acted as adviser to the Strategy and Marketing Group of Coopers and Lybrand, (now PwC). His overseas experience includes work in Europe, Africa, the Americas and the Far East. He is one of the few UK marketing academics to have been elected as a Fellow of The Marketing Society and has acted as a judge on the UK Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
His research interests are in the field of international marketing and branding, especially in aspects of cross-border marketing in Europe. He is the author of numerous publications on international marketing and branding. Frédéric Fréry is a Professor in the Management Department of ESCP, Paris campus.
He graduated from ESCP with a Master in Management, received a M.Sc. in Management of Technology from École Centrale Paris and earned his Doctorate and post-doctoral authorization to supervise research (HDR) from the University Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne.
He is the Academic Dean of the Global Executive PhD. He was the Scientific Director of the Executive MBA from 2010 to 2015 and of the Full-Time MBA from 2001 to 2005. He was the holder of the ESCP/KPMG Chair "Governance, Strategy, Risks and Performance" from 2007 to 2015.
He is a honorary professor at CentraleSupélec since 2011.
He has been a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and a Visiting Professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
From 1994 to 2006, he supervised the management courses at ENSAM.
He has taught at the Lomonossov University in Moscow and at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico.
He received the ESCP 2009 Teaching Excellence Award.
His research and teachings focus on strategy, organization and management of innovation.

Valentina Carbone is Professor of Sustainability and Supply Chain Management at ESCP business school, at the Paris Campus. She is the scientific co-director of the Deloitte Chair on Circular Economy. Her recent research deals with Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Sharing Economy, and Circular Economy transition. Valentina has conducted research with public sector bodies such as the European Commission or the French Ministry for Sustainable Development.
She is the author of several articles (published in Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Strategy and the Environment, etc…), volumes, chapters and communications to international conferences.
She is often invited as a guest speaker in both academic and professional events. She is in charge of a monthly web-show on sustainable supply chain (https://supplychain-village.com/video-on-demand/supply-chain-durable/) .
She earned her HDR - French post-doctoral degree allowing its holder to supervise PhD students, at Aix Marseille University, and a PHD in management at ENPC Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris. She enjoyed 3 years of business experience (Procter & Gamble) and a 4-year research fellowship at the French National Institute for Transport Research before joining ESCP as a professor.
