Mr. Stura has previously served as Chartering Manager in Socar Trading SA where he was in charge of the fuel oil and Azeri crude stream and managing the company's tanker fleet ranging from Handysize to Suezmax, including LPG. Mr. Stura brings over 18 years of shipping experience to Fractal Shipping having acted in competitive brokering and Commercial Chartering for Mercuria where he managed the Biofuels stream and CPP chartering activities (MR to LR worldwide). Mr. Stura holds a Bachelor in Shipping Business and Administration from University of Genova.
Mr. Nygaard has more than 15 years' experience from international shipping from commercial roles in Geneva, Dubai, Singapore, and Oslo. His employment background includes competitive shipbrokering within the VLCC and Suezmax segment in Clarksons, Chartering Manager in UACC (Fleet: LR1, MR/ Chemical IMO 2-3) and Commercial Chartering in Tanker Pacific (Fleet: VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax, LR1, MR, Handy, FSO/FPSO). Mr. Nygaard educational background includes a Bachelor of Business and Administration from Universitat Ramon Llull as well as an International MBA from IE Business School.
Mr. Phillipe has almost 25 years of shipping experience from Managerial positions in Paris, Dubai, and Geneva. Previous roles include Head of Shipping in Socar Trading, controlling a fleet of Suezmax, Aframax, LPG and small tankers, and handling the groups cargo program of 60 m/bbls per annum. Mr. Philippe also held the role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in UACC controlling a fleet of about 25 vessels within tanker/ chemical IMO 2-3 segments. Mathieu Philippe holds a Masters in Management (MiM) from EDHEC of France.
