NAPDOWN

The mandate for Sierra Leone's NAP is grounded in its National Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan and its latest Medium-Term National Development Plan (2019-2023) which includes a cluster on addressing vulnerabilities and building resilience. The NAP builds on these existing policies and supports their implementation. Additionally, the NAP is aligned with the National Climate Change Policy Framework (2012), Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), National Communications to the UNFCCC and National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPA).
