NORTHSTAR is an integrated manufacturer of RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) and Special Purpose Boats also is organized under MARINTEK GROUP's Ribtech Company. Initially organized under Marintek brand in 1997, Northstar brand was adopted in 2002 for an entirely new product range and is the only serial manufacturer of RIBs at 8000 sqm production field located in Izmir, Turkey... Our current range includes almost 70 different models both for recreational and also is the only manufacturer for an extensive Military/Professional range in markets with lengths ranging from 2.7m to 12m. As an extension of Northstar, a new Aluminum RIB and Workboat division (Alupro) was formed which is capable to manufacture Aluminum boats/RIBs upto 18m in length... NORTHSTAR design and development team consist of 2 Naval Architects, 2 Industrial designers, one draftsman and one Industrial engineer making for a very able and adaptable force, constantly turning out new military/professional projects and tooling..
