Alex is responsible for the all of the day-to-day operations, accounting and HR of Northland Wealth. Alex has more than a decade of experience in office administration, management and corporate events planning where she worked for a British multi-national firm in Costa Rica. Alex is fluent in English and Spanish and is currently studying French and Italian.
Alex is involved in the local arts community. She lives in the country with her husband in Burlington.

With a 30 year professional career, Arthur C. Salzer is one of North America's leading family office experts is the founder and driving force behind Northland Wealth. Arthur is responsible for developing and implementing the firm's strategic plan as well as overseeing all operations and investments for our families. Arthur also advises many of the firm's largest and most complex clients.
Arthur was farm raised in Southern Ontario before obtaining his Economics Degree from McMaster University at the age of 20. Arthur is a former member of the Think Growth Campaign Committee for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce tax review. In addition, Arthur is an active member of the Family Firm Institute (FFI) and Family Enterprise Canada (FEC). For the past four years Arthur has been a judge for the prestigious Family Enterprise of the Year Award (FEYA). Since 2016, Arthur has been known for his unique insights into alternative investing and family offices in his Column - Curve Appeal which appears in each edition of The Financial Post Magazine.
Arthur is frequently interviewed by leading media sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, NBC, Financial Post, Globe & Mail, Washington Times, Wealth Professional Magazine, CTV and CBC for market analysis and commentary and is a frequent speaker at leading family office and investment conferences across North America and Europe.

Jake joined Northland Wealth as the Manager of Communications in January 2022. His responsibilities include strategic marketing, creative direction, brand development, podcast and video production, web development, and content management. He works closely with the CEO and all members of the Northland team to enhance the client experience and produce relevant media.
With more than ten years in communications, Jake has an extensive multi-discipline background that spans across several creative industries. His time spent in the entertainment business offered a unique perspective into marketing strategy and creative development. While working as a creative consultant, Jake gained experience with "out of the box" thinking and multi-platform content strategy.
Jake has a great sense of humor and outside of work he enjoys travel, music, fine art, and cooking.

Linda is the Manager, Client Services at Northland. She is responsible for complete client service administration. She liaises with our custodians and oversees our client relationships from the opening of new client accounts through to year end tax reporting.
Richard Scarisbrick - CCO, Chief Compliance Officer, Managing Director

Richard Scarisbrick joined Northland full-time as the firm's Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in June of 2017. He is also on the Board of Directors of the firm. Richard has almost twenty years of experience in the ever-changing Canadian securities and financial institution compliance regulatory environment, including privacy and anti-money laundering experience. Prior to becoming the CCO at Northland, Richard had been providing compliance consulting services to the firm since 2013.
The foundation for Richard's compliance experience is his formal legal training. Richard has received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree from the University Of Toronto's Faculty of Law in 2002. He also has a Combined Honors Economics and Political Science bachelor's degree from McMaster University and has completed several Canadian Securities Institute courses.
Richard began his career in compliance in 1998 at Jones Heward Investment Counsel, while still in law school. After graduating from law school he has progressed through increasingly senior compliance roles with Sionna Investment Managers Inc., which was Canada's largest start-up portfolio management firm at the time, with CIBC Wealth Management Compliance, which was responsible for regulatory compliance oversight of all CIBC securities and wealth management subsidiaries, and with Leon Frazer and Associates, Ontario's oldest portfolio management firm.
Richard also has banking risk management and compliance experience as Manager, BASEL Risk Management with Bank of Montreal Financial Group and as the Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer of Community Trust Company, a federally regulated financial institution
