As we make this change, we will continue to support young people to gain the confidence and skills, as part of our Enterprise programme, and move into work, education and training. Founded by His Majesty the King in 1976, The King's Trust (formally The Prince's Trust) helps young people across the globe respond to the rapidly changing global economy, so they can thrive in the world... Most of my career in youth work has explored creative facilitation with groups, weaving together relationships. We're weaving a whāriki for and with young people, our team, our Board, strategic partners and the global network we're thrilled to be part of... We work alongside rangatahi aged 18-30 to grow their ability and vision to ‘make a living' and value their own contribution to a thriving Aotearoa economy for themselves, their whānau, and their communities.
