Dr. Magnus Murphy

As a respected leader and mentor in the field of urogynecology, Dr. Murphy engages with his patients to identify, educate and provide treatment options to successfully treat pelvic floor conditions. His extensive experience performing reconstructive vaginal surgeries and his unique understanding of pelvic floor disorders means patients can entrust their pelvic health to a professional who is supported by a kind and knowledgeable team of nurses and professionals. With one-on-one consultations, education, and various treatment options available, from pelvic floor physiotherapy to non-invasive, non-surgical laser treatment options, Dr. Murphy empowers women to take control and take care of their pelvic health. Dr. Murphy is frequently invited to be a speaker and faculty member at National and International meetings of Urogynecological Societies and Associations, including the International Urogynecological Association. To date, he has co-authored two books, both published by Prometheus Books of New York, explaining the pelvic floor and the causes of its disorders in detail. His mission is to make information regarding pelvic floor disorders accessible and understandable so that women can be empowered to ask their healthcare providers questions regarding proposed procedures and interventions that may be required.
