David Walsvick came from a family of independent professional financial planners. David founded Walsvick Wealth Management, LLC where he is currently the managing member. He has had the pleasure to work in finance, accounting, and tax for over 20 years. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration as well as a Masters Degree in Financial Planning. Additionally, David has always been active in the local community serving on non-profit boards, mentoring youth, and teaching kids how to managing money. It has been said that "the best teachers teach from the heart and not from a book." I completely agree with this statement because teaching is something that is near and dear to my heart. You see, in identifying some of the top reasons why people should work with a financial professional, I discovered that I am an educator at heart. I view it as my job to educate my clients about important financial and economic matters that have the potential to impact their life. I take great pride in this and derive deep satisfaction from sharing my knowledge. While it is true that automated investing technology may be able to perform important functions (we use such technology for the benefit of our clients), it can never sit at a table with you and have a meaningful conversation. In this age of technology, we still value face-to-face interactions with real people -- from the heart. David is a happily married husband and father. His immediate family includes his beautiful wife and son. They enjoy traveling, working out, hiking, swimming, golfing, music, car shows, dining out, spending time with family and friends, and watching a good show on Netflix. David is also an Officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and has honorably served for nearly 20 years. During his career he has been in active duty, as well as the reserves, as both enlisted and a commissioned officer. He has received numerous awards, decorations, and promotions. In 2018 he earned another Masters Degree in Military Operational Art and Science from The Air Command and Staff College. He is always proud to put service before self.
