ALTERNATIVE FUTURE FOUNDATION

The Alternative Future Foundation began as a fundraising night in 2002 for "Cure Our Kids". Three co-founders of the event - Steve Howell, Damien Hatfield and Kim Ivey - with the assistance of the then CEO of Cure Our Kids, Carolyn Dodds, created a music themed night called 'Hedge Funds Rock'. Its objective was to raise the awareness of the Australian hedge fund community away from internal issues and towards a charity that needed financial assistance, all the while having a fun filled night but convening for a wider social giving purpose... The Alternative Future Foundation harnesses the financial support from the Alternative Investment Community to help individuals and their families.
