Atalanta NYC is a New York City based nonprofit with two main goals: We employ and support professional female runners so they can achieve their highest athletic goals, and those same runners serve as core mentors for our youth mentoring program. Atalanta's program is structured to enable its athletes to find a healthy and sustainable balance in their running lives and careers... Our mentoring program is designed for girls aged 12-20 that are interested in learning from our professional runners about the power of community, education, and movement. Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 sessions will be held in NYC, and virtual youth program sessions will be available for all in during Summer 2022... Atalanta New York is a NYC based nonprofit that employs and supports professional female runners that are training to achieve their goals at the highest levels, while mentoring young girls.
