Abby McKinlay

Abby has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and she has been working with Paul as an Associate for most of her career. Abby graduated from the Financial Management program at The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Her training and experience provide her with the knowledge required to understand client needs and deliver the best service possible. She handles daily trading as well as supervision of client investments and account management. You can also contact her for such tasks as account documentation, transfers, and tax reporting.

Amanda Heinrick

Amanda has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Starting as a teller and being given positions of increased responsibility since the age of nineteen, Amanda has worked her way into her current role of Associate Advisor and Financial Planner. Amanda is a licensed Financial Planner who is passionate about helping guide clients to realizing their financial and retirement goals. Amanda has successfully completed the Applied Financial Planning Course, Wealth Management Essentials Course, Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook exams. Amanda and her boyfriend Jeremy reside in Abbotsford, where their free time they spend as much of it as they can snowmobiling the mountains in the winter months and jet skiing the lakes in the summer. They are always looking for new adventures and places to see in our beautiful province.

Bob Wilson

Bob first began his career in the investment industry in 1997 with a discount brokerage business, where he held various licensed positions. After later moving into an Associate role working with two Financial Advisors, Bob developed an appreciation for helping and supporting clients with their financial needs. In 2006, Bob decided to transition into a management capacity and joined Scotia Wealth Management as a Branch Business Manager. During his 17-year tenure, he continued to take on progressively more senior roles. Most recently, Bob held the title of Co-Branch Manager, where he supported and provided leadership to 24 advisory teams in the Scotia Wealth Management Vancouver office. Bob has successfully completed several investment and branch management courses through the Canadian Securities Institute and is also a holder of the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation. He has been a resident of Maple Ridge, British Columbia since 2008, where he lives with his wife and two teenage children - together, they spend a great deal of time camping and enjoying the great outdoors. Bob is a devoted Canucks fan and has a passion for sports. He is excited to join RBC and is looking forward to meeting his new partners, colleagues and clients.

David Mackie

David has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Starting his career with GE Capital and then Bank of Scotland in the UK. In 2004 David founded his private wealth management team at RBC Dominion Securities with the goal of helping local families and businesses with their unique financial needs. Trust and understanding are the cornerstones of Davids practice. David and his family live in South Surrey and are active members in the community. David works with several local charities and was on the board of the RBC Invitational Golf tournament that raised over $450,000 for the building of a new Emergency Centre at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Jakob Graves

Jakob is a newer addition to the team, joining Paul and Abby at the beginning of 2022. Just before starting, Jakob graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. He is committed to providing clients with world class service and aims to make their financial lives easier at every available opportunity. Leveraging his education and quantitative background, Jakob adds value to the portfolio management process by providing equity and fixed income research, as well as developing many of the tools used to make informed investment decisions. He also helps with trading, money transfers, and day-to-day account maintenance. Jakob is excited to continue his career in Wealth Management and to work towards becoming an advisor under Paul's mentorship.

Jordan is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), one of the highest designations awarded in the Canadian Financial Services Industry. As a Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor, Jordan focuses on helping guide clients through various life stages and market cycles. Jordan is an Options Specialist focusing on using the most advanced techniques available to reduce risk, preserve capital and enhance tax-efficient cash flows for each client situation. Jordan prides himself on providing personalized Wealth Management; this includes ongoing Investment Reviews, Financial Planning, Will & Estate Planning and Insurance Reviews. These services are inclusive in the Private Investment Management Program and the core of the Belton Private Wealth Management Team at RBC. Prior to joining RBC, Jordan played Division 1 golf for the University of Hawaii. Jordan knows the opportunities and life lessons sports can teach and strives to give back through serving on the board of KidSport Surrey-White Rock, a charity dedicated to removing the financial barriers that prevent some kids from playing organized sports. Jordan lives in Fort Langley with his wife Courtney and their two young children.

Kimberly Saunders

Kimberly joined the White Rock branch as Branch Operations Manager in 2021 and assists with day to day operations in White Rock/Surrey, Langley and Maple Ridge branches. Kimberly began her career with Dominion Securities in 1999 and throughout her career has taken on more senior roles and responsibilities within the firm. Prior to her transition into management Kimberly was a Senior Associate and brings with her a strong background in internal controls, compliance and market knowledge. Outside of the office, Kimberly and her husband are busy parents to three teenage daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys any new adventure and spending time with family and friends.

Paul McMillan

Paul graduated from the University of British Columbia and holds a degree in Economics. He entered the financial industry in 1995. He currently is a fully licensed Portfolio Manager, has his CIM (Chartered Investment Manager) and FMA (Financial Management Advisor) designations. Paul's expertise lies in assessing risk versus return profiles and constructing portfolios that align with his clients' objectives. As a Portfolio Manager, he leverages his extensive knowledge of the capital markets, including bonds, stocks, and ETFs, with a minimal allocation to mutual funds. Holding a CIM designation, Paul is recognized for his proficiency in portfolio management. In his current role, Paul partners with RBC Dominion Securities, Canada's largest financial firm, to offer holistic wealth solutions for families. He provides comprehensive services, including wealth management, financial planning, estate planning, and insurance, ensuring that his clients receive a well-rounded approach to their financial well-being. Known for his ability to simplify complex financial concepts, Paul's clients appreciate his dedication to making information easily understandable and pertinent to the individual.  While Paul is committed to being the most trusted advisor for his clients, he also values a fulfilling personal life, Paul has lived and grown up in South Surrey and is married to his best friend Megan. They are busy raising their three boys, Parker 12, Finlay 11 and Bennett 8. As the first captain of the Surrey Eagles back in 1992, Paul stays active in hockey and sports, and now is starting the journey of coaching his kids through their early years. Ray Mohan

As Branch Director, Ray manages the offices in White Rock/Surrey, Langley and Maple Ridge and oversees the team of investment advisors, portfolio managers and professional support staff who provide customized advisory and discretionary wealth management solutions to affluent private clients and institutions. Ray joined RBC Banking in 1991 in the Mississauga area where he held various roles in retail banking. Wanting to focus more closely on the client relationship, Ray transferred to RBC Dominion Securities in 1997 as an Investment Advisor. In 2001, Ray was appointed to the role of Branch Manager in Woodstock, ON and then continued to take on progressively Senior Branch Management roles. During his tenure in Management, Ray has been recognized with the Branch of the Year award on 3 different occasions. In addition to his role as Branch Director, Ray has been a member of the firm's Manager Advisory Board, including Chair of the Board in 2017. This board represents Branch Managers at the senior management table and acts as a sounding board for various firm initiatives, strategies & policies and provides feedback and best practices to fellow Managers across the country. Ray is a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Degree in Political Science, Economics & History. In addition to completing several Investment & Branch Management courses through the Canadian Securities Institute, Ray holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
