Alex joined Conrad Direct fresh out of college in 1996. With degrees in history and political science, he was ready for an academic pursuit. Well, that was over 25 years ago. Alex's journey began in Conrad's List Brokerage division, learning the ropes on both consumer and non-profit client accounts. This early experience stimulated Alex's lifelong passion for all aspects of direct response marketing. Today, alongside co-president Sharon Traina, Alex leads the consumer, for-profit direct response agency division at Conrad Direct. His specialties include: direct response growth strategy, creative development, production management, and data optimization. He brings a unique perspective and vast experience across consumer markets including: nutritional supplements, fitness, financial, catalog, publishing and many others. Alex lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and three kids.

Barbara has an MSW and worked as a psychiatric social worker for over a decade. In 1981 she took on a new challenge. What she intended as a temporary side-track became a lifelong commitment. She joined her husband, Jerry Gould, who was in the process of founding a marketing company, Conrad Direct, in the basement of their small home. Their goal was to provide direct marketers with personalized, innovative list brokerage and management services. In the years that followed, the company has flourished and expanded in new directions. Barbara has been active in the strategic development of the company with special responsibility for financial management. But her most important contribution has been her part in the selection of excellent staff and the creation of a company culture which promotes personal growth, dedication and teamwork. That environment has nurtured the development of the excellent management group that now leads Conrad.

Sharon went from reading Dr. Seuss to direct mail! Direct marketing has always been in her blood, learning at an early age from her mother who was in the B2B marketing world. After a brief stint as a veterinarian technician while going to college, she got her foot in the door in the list industry and then shortly after joined Conrad Direct in 1991, and never left! Her passion for direct marketing drove her to create a direct response agency division within Conrad Direct to enhance the list side of the business as an expanded suite of services for consumer, for-profit clients in 1996. She leads the consumer, for profit agency division alongside executive vice president Alex Kennedy. She loves a challenge, solving problems and is widely known as a straight shooter. Her biggest satisfaction is seeing client's response rates go up and their costs go down. Sharon lives in Bergen County, NJ with her husband, kids and too many dogs to count!
