EMDR Psychotherapists' Association of Armenia launched in November, 2019 in Armenia as a social organization governed by EMDR Europe professional and ethical standards. It is the only organization in Armenia that has been recognized by EMDR Europe (EMDREA) as an associated member among 32 EMDR member organizations in Europe... The mission of EMDR Psychotherapists' Association of Armenia social organization is to support mental health care by promoting the EMDR psycho-therapeutic approach in Armenia. We organize, plan, and coordinate high standard training for psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists to help them develop a higher level of expertise in this psycho-therapeutic approach. We strive to create opportunities to promote EMDR therapy as a treatment of choice for trauma related disorders which will greatly enhance the potential to heal in the community.
