Workers compensation attorney Adam A. Smith practices in the Goldsboro and Raleigh law offices of Riddle & Brantley. Alex Riddle joined Riddle & Brantley in 2020 as a personal injury lawyer handling all types of injury cases throughout North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2020 and joined the firm immediately after passing the North Carolina State Bar. She is particularly interested in civil rights law.
Prior to attending law school, Alex earned her B.A. degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Distinction.
In 2021, Alex was named a member in The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.

Alex is a passionate advocate for justice for all. Before joining the firm, Alex volunteered for the Innocence Project, helping find ways for those who maintain their innocence to appeal their cases. She has also worked for an immigration law clinic, and has significant experience working with Spanish-speaking clients and interpreters.
Alex is the daughter of founding attorney and managing partner Gene Riddle and a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Attorney Molly M. Schertzinger is a valued member of the legal team serving at our Kinston office and focuses on auto accidents and premises liability matters, including dog bites and slip and fall accidents. Born in Kinston, North Carolina, Molly was raised on her parents' horse farm. She developed a love for animals as well as a desire to help people while growing up. After she graduated from North Lenoir High School, she went on to receive her Bachelor of the Arts from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Attorney Schertzinger was awarded the Super Lawyers "Rising Star" designation in 2022
How I help our clients: I request all records pertaining to you medical treatment, answer any questions our clients' may have, contact the insurance adjusters and assist in your case until it is resolved.
Background: I moved to North Carolina a year ago. I lived in Houston, Texas before that where I also worked in the personal injury law field. I have been married for 3 years and we have a fur baby our English bull do Monroe.
Why I like working at Riddle & Brantley: I love to help our clients and learn from the attorney and staff.
What I like to do in my free time: I spend time with my family, watch sports (big patriots fan), like mudding, shopping and playing with Monroe.
How I help our clients: I am a point of contact for the clients. I assist in requesting all records pertaining to you medical treatment, answering client questions and concerns, acting as the liaison between the client and providers and adjusters, and being there to assist our client's until their case is resolved.
Background: I'm originally from Peru, lived in Florida and moved to NC in 2007, and started working in the Legal field in a prior Law firm in Durham, NC for 6 years as a Bilingual -Legal Assistant in Traffic/Criminal Law and Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation claims.
Why I like working at Riddle & Brantley: I like the opportunity I have being able to help our clients with their claims, meet and work with extraordinary people.
What I like to do in my free time: I love any outdoors activities, cooking at home, live music, meet friends, and love my pets 2 dogs Percy, Camilla, and our bunny Angel. But what I love the most is to spend time with my 2 kids Nick & Amanda and my wonderful husband John.

Christina Stone will be handling your claim or lawsuit, assisted by our dedicated staff.
Christina Stone is a personal injury lawyer with Riddle & Brantley. She joined the firm in 2020 after graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2020. She is particularly interested in personal injury and workers' compensation law.
A native of Cary, North Carolina, Christina attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her B.A. degree in Media and Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations. Her second major was Political Science. She graduated with Distinction. During her undergraduate studies, Christina served as president of the Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Honor Society and participated in the Buckley Public Service Scholars Program, completing over 300 hours of public service.
While attending law school, Christina served as a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review, and as a member of the UNC Women in Law, Carolina Health Law Organization.

How I help our clients: I supervise the pre-litigation caseload for our Raleigh office. I implement firm policy and procedures by overseeing the daily work associated with new case development. I also train new staff and manage a caseload of my own. From inception through closure, I handle the breadth of pre-litigation cases. I provide on-going training and assistance to the rest of the pre-lit staff. I spent the last five years working on every aspect of pre-litigation, personal injury law.
Background: I graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. I became a North Carolina Licensed Insurance Adjuster in 2013.
