Our family always owned dogs but back in 1976, something happened to our lives - we caught the dog bug in a BIG way - Labrador Retrievers in particular. One dog rapidly became two, two became five, five became many more - and Highland Kennel was born. In 1978, our family moved to a sleepy little town called Howell, New Jersey and began to build a world-class kennel for our dog breeding and show dog programs. We earned a reputation for excellence in the professional dog community and with dog enthusiasts throughout New Jersey and the world... Highland Kennel provides boarding, grooming and daycare for your fuzzy best friends... We have customers who have been with us since the 1980s and continue to bring us each new generation of their pets. We've worked long and hard to become a special facility with steadfast clients, some of whom come from very far away to take advantage of the extra attention and care we provide for animals. They think it's worth the trip for the peace of mind..
