DALI

The DALi project has undertaken a challenging agenda aimed at extending the people autonomous life beyond the home. The environment where the system will operate is partially known (due to its large variability) and changing. Our device system must acquire dynamic information.... For older adults, simple daily tasks, such as shopping or just socialising, can be extremely challenging. To address this problem, we have developed a portable motion planning device for crowded environments, to help reduce the stress of a user with impaired ability.
