Janet Greathouse

Janet Greathouse has dedicated her legal career to assisting individuals and businesses of all sizes in meeting their immigration needs. Whether representing a pastor in preparing a Religious Worker Petition or a business in petitioning on behalf of a foreign worker, Ms. Greathouse strives to meet the highest professional standards. Ms. Greathouse has successfully represented clients in a wide range of visa matters. In representing corporate clients, Ms. Greathouse assists companies in obtaining nonimmigrant work related visas (H-1B, L-1 and TN), and employment based lawful permanent residence (PERM applications, I-140 petitions and adjustment of status). Ms. Greathouse also assists individuals in realizing their immigration goals, whether it is to reunite with family members, start a new life with their spouses, begin a new or build on their existing career, or simply to visit the U.S. To help individuals meet these goals, our office is able to represent clients in a variety of matter, including family based immigrant petitions, marriage-based green card applications, inadmissibility waiver applications, and naturalization applications. Ms. Greathouse is a published author of articles analyzing cutting edge immigration topics, and was a speaker at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) National Conference, discussing new developments in employment based immigration law. After earning her Bachelor's Degree from Occidental College, Ms. Greathouse received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. Ms. Greathouse studied international law through the University of San Diego Paris Institute on International and Comparative Law in Paris, France, and has interned with the United Nations. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of California, Ms. Greathouse is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce.
