The Golden West Chapter's compassionate Care Services team provides professional, expert advice and assistance for people living with ALS, free-of-charge. During the onset of COVID-19, the Chapter completely pivoted to provide comprehensive care services via online platforms. Our knowledgeable and dedicated Regional Care Managers are utilizing technology to help individuals and families access the most current and impactful information, resources, equipment, and experts to maintain and maximize health, for individuals living with ALS and their loved ones. Our online support groups throughout our service area have had a large increase in attendance, we are facilitating more loans of equipment and communication devices than ever before, and our ability to offer new educational webinars has allowed more Chapter clients and many outside our service area to learn from experts on a variety of topics of keen interest to the ALS community.
