Ana has completed mini-pupillages with Hassans in Gibraltar, as well as Lamb Chambers and Normanton Chambers in London. Currently, she offers tax and legal research services to Del Canto Chambers, specializing in English and Spanish law, as well as HR-related matters.

Cristina works as an Administrative Officer with multi-level skills. She has studied Vocational Training as Direction Secretary, Administration - Finances and International Trade; having worked in different sectors such as Aerospace Industry, Training Courses Area, Social-Health Services Field and Wine Export. She has also lived abroad doing an aupair co-living program for three years in Ireland.
Eva is the Head of Administration at Del Canto Chambers with over 25 years of experience in a variety of international companies and foundations in Spain, the US, Mexico, the UK and Qatar.

Gonzalo Rodríguez is a spanish lawyer and currently the General Coordinator of the Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance at the IE Business School, one to the top 10 Business Schools in the world according to the Financial Times.
Previously he was a lawyer at Triodos Bank, the leading ethical bank in Europe and legal adviser at Garrigues Abogados (the Iberian peninsula's leading tax and legal services firm in terms of professional headcount and billing). He received his MAJ (LLM) from IE Business School, a Degree in law from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, an International Executive Program in Islamic Finance at IE Business School and he also holds studies in political science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Jenny Ward is the Clerk at Del Canto Chambers. With over 30 years of experience working with large corporate and Start-Up businesses, she has worked with a diverse range of industries in the UK and internationally. Jenny has held roles within administration, procurement, sales and project management. She is also a Director of a Culture Change company providing consultancy advice in behavioural safety.
Julio Prieto is a Barrister in the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in London and Spanish Abogado in the Colegio de Abogados de las Islas Baleares (Balearic Isles Bar Association). With ten years of legal and commercial experience. Julio holds a LLM in Taxation and his area of practice and of expertise for Del Canto Chambers is Private Clients, Tax and Commercial law.
Karim undertakes general chancery and commercial work. He has a special interest and expertise in Islamic commercial and arbitration laws and Arab legal systems, mainly in the context of multi-jurisdictional disputes. In this context, he has advised in the past on difficult issues relating to shipping law as well as international construction projects encompassing Egyptian, UAE and Kuwaiti laws. He has regularly appeared in the Chancery and Kings Bench Divisions on commercial matters as well as qualifying as a mediator in 2003.
Prior to Del Canto Chambers, Karim was a member of Littman Chambers from 2001 to 2010.
Karim read law at St Edmund Hall, Oxford and completed a doctorate in Islamic law at Pembroke College, Cambridge. He also holds an MA in sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London.
Karim was called to the Bar in 1999 as a Major Scholar of the Inner Temple. He remains a senior research fellow of Tabah Foundation since 2005, a leading research think tank based in Cairo and Abu Dhabi and has published widely in the context of Islamic law, Islamic theology, Roman Catholic canon law and philosophy. He also lectures regularly on the said topics.
Karim is fluent in Arabic and French and can accept papers in both these languages.
León Fernando Del Canto leads Del Canto Chambers International Tax & Legal team. Fernando is a tax qualified English Barrister and Spanish Abogado and he is instructed regularly by solicitors and auditors all around the world. Fernando can be instructed by private clients as a public access Barrister and is accredited as such by the England and Wales Bar Standards Board. Fernando has audience rights in Ireland under the Bar Council in Ireland and in Spain under Abogacía Española.
Fernando has broad international tax & legal experience and has represented clients in Madrid, New York, London, Dublin, Delhi, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Doha, Dubai, and Hong Kong. He advocates for private clients and their families as well as for companies with international operations.
He got his UK tax qualification with KPMG, Deloitte and Grant Thornton before moving to private practice. In 2006 he became the first Spanish citizen to hold a double qualification as a Barrister in England and Spanish Abogado when he joined The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in London. He is a member of the Worshipful Association of Tax Advisers in the City of London, a liveryman of the City of London.

Luisa Cid is a Spanish and European Lawyer with extensive experience both in private practice and public service. Her areas of expertise are Corporate Law, Administrative Law and Contracts.
She has vast international experience in the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the USA; and has been Secretary-General for the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities and a Member of the Spanish National Committee of ICOMOS (UNESCO).
Over the years, Ms. Cid has been a Counselor and member of the board for several public administrations, foundations, and companies, and President of the Galician Entrepreneur Women Foundation. Luisa Cid is a Master of Laws ( ICADE Pontificia Comillas University), Master in Public Policy ( A Coruna University ), and Postgraduate in Public Administrative and Urban Planning Law (Santiago de Compostela University).
She is a Member of the Galician Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
Maryam Jassim Al-Bader is an international Qatari lawyer with more than 8 years experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council. Maryam has worked as in-house legal counsel in one of the biggest organisations in Qatar, where she handled the establishment of the Intellectual Property division. Maryam has handled a variety of Intellectual Property legal matters Internationally and locally for Del Canton Chambers. . She completed her LLB in the UK and her LLM in Boston College, MA - USA.

Mr. Francisco Almansa is a lawyer of Spanish citizenship. As a lawyer he accumulates extensive work experience in the areas of real estate, tax advice for nonresidents, immigration by investment programs in Europe and litigation at international level.
Mr. Almansa obtained his Law degree from the University of Almeria in 2001, and a Master's Degree in International Migrations and transnational movements of people from the European University of Madrid (Spain).
Currently he is member of the Lawyers Association Bars of Almería and Madrid (Spain) and is a practicing Jurist in Moscow (Russian Federation). He currently spends his time among Madrid, Moscow and Dubai.
Mr. Almansa has been a senior foreign advisor of the High Court of Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation since 2013, and he is accredited by the Spanish General Consulate in the Russian Federation (since 2014) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Federation (since 2008).
He has been during all his career a frequent speaker in relations between Russia and Spain, both as a speaker in different professional events (Almeria, Madrid, Málaga, Alicante, Marbella, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar and Dubai) as being featured by Spanish and international media (El Mundo, Expansión, Cinco Días, RBK, Business FM, Voice of Russia, Russia Beyond the Headlines, radio Mediametrics, etc.)

Mónica Navarro is a Colombian abogada with a degree from Externado de Colombia University. She is a specialist in Intellectual Property, Copyrights and New Technologies and now works for Del Canto Chambers in this field. She has over 10 years of experience as a legal advisor for several government agencies in rule making, public policies and public law litigation including judicial review, statutory appeals, civil enforcement and public procurement law.

Paula Losada Simón-Ricart obtained a Business Administration degree and a Master's degree in Tax Consultancy from the University of Navarra. She did an Erasmus program in WHU University (Köblenz, Germany) and a Business Management training in IESE Business School. She had more than eight years experience working in accounting and tax management of companies in different sectors. She works as a Spanish Tax Consultant for international and Spanish companies and individuals and provides advice on a variety of Spanish tax and accounting matters.

Sara is a Spanish lawyer and currently focused on Immigration Law and Private International Law. She is a member of the Cadiz Bar Association (Spain).
Sara studied Law and Political Science at Pablo de Olavide University (Spain). She holds two Master's Degrees: Legal Practice and Contract Law. She obtained a merit for her thesis on the post-Brexit relationship between Spain and the United Kingdom on the Gibraltar question (Study area: Public International Law). In addition, she received an honourable mention for her academic career from the Castellar de la Frontera Town Hall in 2023.
She is an expert in defending expats' interests in Spain. Sara brings a wealth of experience in the processing of residency applications and representing clients at the Spanish Consulates all over the world, Immigration Offices in Spain and other State bodies.
Xavier has more than 30 years of experience working with individuals, corporations and foundations in countries such as Qatar, India, USA, United Kingdom and other European countries. This experience has given him extensive knowledge of business customs, while allowing him to develop a deep respect for different cultures, languages and religions.
