She trained at Bradford and Ilkley College studying art and design for three years before going on to specialise in floristry and design at Bishop Burton College in Humberside. With these qualifications and the inspiration of working along side celebrity florist Kenneth Turner at The Ritz Hotel, London, Zoe opened her own successful floristry business in West Yorkshire.
