Akash is a Trustee Director at IGG working on a set of pension schemes of a range of sizes and circumstances. Previously at ITS, he was lead of the Sole Trusteeship proposition for over two years and transitioned five schemes to sole trusteeship some with complex projects in progress at the same time. He has carried out many buy-ins/outs and GMP Equalisation projects as a trustee and is working through several wind-ups.

Amelia Joined as a Personal Assistant in April 2022, Providing support to the directors as well as the Trust Support Team.
Amelia also supports the PSC side of the business, working closely with the Head of Operations. Previously she had been working as a team PA for a corporate company. Since joining the company, Amelia has enjoyed working in a busy environment helping support her colleagues as the business continues to grow.
Amy is involved in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team and has enjoyed developing her skills and knowledge after graduating from the University of Chester with a Degree in Accountancy.
Amy joined IGG in 2021 and has since dived into being a pivotal member of the team with responsibilities such as client accounts, financial reports and maintaining financial systems.
Amy is looking forward to studying towards completing her ACCA qualification.

Ania is a credit controller at Independent Governance Group and has 17 years finance experience gained across different sectors including advertising, leisure, logistics and travel and tourism. She is ACCA part qualified.
Ania has been in charge of the design, implementation and development of Dynamics 365 for multiple companies. She coordinated the movement of the accounting function from external accountants to an in-house Finance Team.
Ania graduated with Masters Engineering Degree in Genetics in Cracow. She loves dancing salsa and travelling.

Annabelle is the head of Professional Corporate Sole Trustee ("PCST") services at IGG. She has a ten-year background working in pensions, initially as Pensions Manager and Scheme Secretary, and now also acts as a professional trustee across a number of schemes. As such, she has a strong focus on good governance and uses this as a method to reduce the operational risk of Trustee Boards.
Annabelle is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute and fully-accredited as a professional trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
Anne co-ordinates and oversees offerings on day to day Trustee services. She is also responsible for arranging regular company-wide training sessions.
She has gained a broad knowledge of the pensions industry though a variety of roles from pension administration, consultancy, technical training and compliance. This includes a period working in the Qualifications and Professional Standards team of a Professional Institute. Anne focusses on the provision of Professional Trustee services.
Anne's technical experience is valuable in her role developing and supporting colleagues, in the provision of day to day Trustee services and implementing Trustee strategic decisions. She has delegated authority and deputises for Trustee Directors if required, in particular where Trustee discretion is to be applied in relation to death benefits.
Anne is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the APPT.

Anthony is an experienced chartered accountant, who has held senior finance roles in a variety of sectors and environments.
He has been CFO of two highly successful PE-backed businesses (Alcumus and Chevron Traffic Management Limited), a Divisional Finance Director in an Aim-listed business (Spice plc), and a Head of Finance in a FTSE top 20 company (BSkyB plc); as well as spending a short time in practice with Deloitte, and three years as a Tutor with the professional training organisation BPP.
Anthony is experienced on both the corporate finance side of the finance function (M&A, treasury, and investor relations) and the operational side, and has implemented new finance and ERP systems in three different organisations. Anthony heads up the finance and IT functions at IGG

Brian works with a UK steel manufacturer with a US parent, experiencing significant challenges from high energy costs. Brian met with the trustee team and the US parent as part of the on-boarding of the scheme and worked to understand the sponsor's needs, particularly in relation to the accounting impact of risk reduction measures, member options, and the feasibility of providing paid-for advice to members as they approach retirement.
Brian has significant experience in corporate transactions and de-risking, including closure of schemes to future accrual, member options, buy-ins, and deficit reduction planning. He is a member of several Joint Working Groups with sponsors focused on risk-reduction and journey planning, including consideration of residual risk management, GMP equalisation, and GMP remediation.
Brian is chair of the NHS Pension Board in Scotland following two years as vice-chair ;the Board has representatives from Nurses, GPs and Dentists, as well as from staff unions. Brian also chaired the Audit Committee of the Scottish Police Authority from its inception for three years.
He is a former Director of Information Security, leading work on disaster scenario planning. As one of his areas of expertise, he sits on Pension Boards' Cyber Incident Response Teams. Brian is also a non-executive "critical friend" on pension system procurement boards, is well respected by his peers, and seen as a ‘go to' person for guidance and support.
He has a collaborative style and works hard to balance the needs of different stakeholders, recognising that his primary duty is to members, and that this is usually best achieved by having a strong sponsor.
Brian is a fully accredited trustee with the Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT).
Callum has worked in the pensions industry since 2017 and is expanding his knowledge within the business.
Prior to joining, Callum has completed the Trustee Toolkit and aims to study to obtain further qualifications. Callum is very passionate about his role and works alongside his colleagues to ensure that schemes are working well while broadening relationships with clients and colleagues.

Carly is a ACCA qualified accountant, with over 16 years' experience working in the Finance function of organisations, predominantly within the media industry.
Her core skills and experience include consolidated financial reporting, leading the annual audit and improving and implementing new accounting systems and processes.

Charles is the former Director of the United States Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). From 2011 until July 2016 he was managing director and head of pension relations with Citigroup, where he oversaw Citi's relationships with pension investors around the world.
In his role at Citigroup, he led international pension conferences and has been a leading speaker at numerous pension-related events.
He has advised Fortune 500 corporations on issues regarding de-risking their pension plans, and he developed relationships on behalf of Citigroup with some of the world's largest pensions plans. In March 2016, Charles led the publication of the report "The Coming Pension Crisis." The report was noteworthy for highlighting $78 trillion in unfunded retirement obligations in twenty countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Prior to his appointment to the PBGC, Charles had a varied career in both private and public life, including service as a managing director with both Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities, and as a senior cabinet official in the administration of New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. Immediately before joining the PBGC, Charles was a Managing Director at Broadway Partners, a national real estate investment and management firm in New York.
He also served as president of BP Direct Securities, a broker-dealer associated with Broadway Partners, where he directed the process of obtaining a license from the NASD and helped raise over one billion dollars for Broadway's discretionary private equity real estate funds.
He began his private sector career as an attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell where his activities included precedent-setting constitutional litigation in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. From 2005 to 2006, Charles wrote a regular column in the New York Post. Charles holds a B.A. Honors Degree, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Holy Cross College, where he received the Presidential Service Award, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Charles joined the Board of Ross Trustees in September 2017 in the role of Non-Executive Director representing the business to US companies with UK pension obligations.

David Preston provides secretarial and project support to Trustee Managers and Directors across a number of pension schemes.
David previously worked at the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) for 12 years. In his role as Senior Qualifications Advisor he co-ordinated various committees through examination sessions. He more recently worked for a third party administrator and his role included work on Data Cleanse projects and GMP reconciliation.
David has built up good relationships with scheme sponsors and a wide range of scheme actuaries, consultants, lawyers and administrators from various high profile advisory firms.
David has qualified at Practitioner level for PRINCE2 and passed the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship.

Dinesh is a Director at Independent Governance Group who specialises in providing professional pensions trusteeship and governance services for occupational pension schemes.
Dinesh is a trustee of Britvic, Channel 4, Action For Children Pension and Wincanton pension schemes and has also been a trustee of numerous Charities for some years, including RNLI Council and Pension Fund, The Ambulance Staff Charity, and St Christopher's Fellowship. He is currently Chair of the City & Guilds scheme and on the City & Guilds Council.
Dominic has worked in the pensions industry since 2017, building up a detailed understanding of DB pension schemes especially, and is committed to developing within the business.
Since joining Dominic has completed the Trustee Toolkit, building on the PMI qualifications he held prior to joining, and is excited to study further while at Ross Trustees.
Dominic is passionate about scheme governance and works alongside other administrators & associates to ensure that schemes are run smoothly while strengthening his relationships with relevant boards & advisers. Outside of work, Dominic has acted as Chairman for a local Autism charity for many years and is passionate about improving diversity & inclusion within the pensions industry as well as in everyday life.
Eden is a versatile professional. Empowering Business Development and Marketing teams with adept diary management, event planning, and member query resolution. She's a driving force behind RedSTART, IGG's charity partnership, orchestrating financial literacy workshops for primary students. With a background as a personal assistant, Eden's admin prowess ensures seamless operations.
