Astrid Vianen

Job Titles:

  • HR and Finance Manager
Astrid Vianen has been working as an administrator at primary schools for several years. In August 2022 she started working at De Kubus, our partner school, as a school business manager. There, she is responsible for everything that has to do with the student administration, finance, HR, housing, communication etc. At the AIS she is responsible for finances and HR. Astrid is at the Noordewierweg on Wednesday mornings.

Bronwyn de Ru

Job Titles:
  • Class Teacher
Bronwyn de Ru has worked as a primary school teacher in South Africa for seven years. In 2022 she moved over to the Netherlands with her family, where she has been working as a group 3 teacher at an international school. In her teaching career she has taught early years through to group 5. Bronwyn studied teaching through the University of South Africa where she obtained her bachelor's degree in education.

Eline de Boer

Job Titles:
  • Music Teacher
When Eline de Boer is in the building, you'll be sure to hear the music. As a music teacher she is leading our music program at AIS. She will be using her expertise in arts, culture and education to integrate music into our units of study. Miss Eline will also work for AIS as a substitute teacher.

Eryn Wiseman

Job Titles:
  • Curriculum Coordinator and Class Teacher
Eryn Wiseman has worked with various national and international schools in and outside the Netherlands as a teacher and consultant. She has taught in most primary grades and has many years of experience as a PYP educator. Eryn was involved in the establishment of the International Schools in Delft and Utrecht, and with that has a good foundation in starting up schools. During the first academic year at AIS, she joins our team as a language teacher and curriculum coordinator. Eryn is American and was a student at international schools herself.

Jaap Mos

Job Titles:
  • Head of School
Jaap Mos has been involved with national and international education for more than thirty years and was founding principal of several international schools in the Netherlands and abroad. He started working with the International Baccalaureate (IB) in 1998 and has continued to do so ever since. While working in IB schools, Jaap has developed a passion for the role of language in its relation to identity, international mindedness, and academic development. He has worked with KPOA since 2021 in establishing the Amersfoort International School.

Jamie Quinn

Job Titles:
  • Communications and Admissions Officer
Jamie Quinn has a diverse background in communications, having worked as a journalist in the radio, television and publishing industries for more than 20 years. Most recently, she has been busy working with diverse international companies to create English content for their marketing and communications departments. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Jamie has lived in the Netherlands for almost 13 years. At the AIS, Jamie is responsible for communications and the admissions process.

Katie Moylan

Job Titles:
  • Class Teacher
Katie Moylan is originally from the UK but has lived in many other countries around the world. She graduated as a teacher in England and has been teaching for thirteen years since then, across grades 2 to 12. Katie has a master's in Special Educational Needs and is a certified counsellor. She taught in Spain for eight years before moving to the Netherlands in 2019 and has worked in other international schools here since then.

Lynn Richardson

Job Titles:
  • Substitute Teacher
Lynn Richardson has extensive experience working at international schools and joins AIS as a substitute teacher. She will also lead classes to support our students in their English language acquisition. Lynn is originally from Scotland and has been living in the Netherlands for several years.

Xanne Schipper

Job Titles:
  • Class Teacher
Xanne Schipper studied International Education at NHL Stenden Hogeschool. She is a teacher at our partner school De Kubus' Spaarnestraat location. Xanne is leading the early years classroom on Wednesdays. She will also work for AIS as a substitute teacher.
