Ian Wyatt got started investing at an early age. His grandparents gave him a couple shares of Exxon stock and enrolled him in the dividend reinvestment program. At age 11 Ian opened a Charles Schwab account and started trading stocks with money he earned delivering newspapers in his neighborhood.
Ian has been hooked on investing ever since. In 2001, he launched Wyatt Investment Research and turned his passion for investing into a successful publishing company.
Ian's goal is to help investors beat the market by finding great investments that are attractively priced.
Ian knows that wealthy investors tend to invest differently. They don't make ridiculous, high risk, high reward bets. They don't feel the need to buy and sell frequently. Instead, they protect their wealth by investing for income and buying stocks when they are cheap. When they do speculate, they do so intelligently, without letting emotion enter into the equation.
