David Lam has been managing information for small and medium businesses including custom software development, systems management and information security for almost 30 years. As a former CIO and Chief Information Security Officer, David brings a holistic, highly integrated, and deeply disciplined view of technology management to his work. David provides information security management support to his clients while helping them to achieve optimal usage of their technologies. David's experience extends to information technology, information security, and physical security. He honed his craft at a nonprofit, in the corporate realm, at a university, and as a consultant. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and has also achieved ITIL Foundations, CNE, MCSE, CCNA, CCDA and Network+ certifications. Also certified as a Stakeholder Centered Coach, David excels at bringing these disparate disciplines together into a coherent and efficient practice for his clients. Throughout his career, David has worked to build the information security community. He runs the Los Angeles CISO forum. He is former vice president of ISSA-LA and for many years was the chair of the annual ISSA-LA Information Security Summit, growing it from fewer than 50 attendees to nearly 800 in his last year as Chair. He is also active in ASIS Information Technology Security Council (ITSC) where he chairs the Certification subcommittee. David and Stan co-authored the Information Security chapters for the ASIS Protection of Assets Manual. David is the co-author of leadership book The New IQ: Leading Up, Down, and Across Using Innovative Questions. His co-author, Chris Coffey, is a noted business coach and partner of Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching. In 2014, David was honored as a CIO of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal. He has been published multiple times in the ISSA Journal and on Tom's IT Pro. David holds a bachelor's degree from UCLA and while there was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He has taught multiple college extension classes and has presented at numerous conferences on technology, information security and physical security. Recipient of the 2014 Los Angeles Business Journal CIO of the Year in the nonprofit division.

Ms. Kimberly Pease has an extensive background in the applications of technology and information security management for middle-market companies. During her career, she implemented computer systems for a wide-range of organizations in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Additionally, she led installation projects at the Pentagon, the Government Printing Office and many state government offices. As a former Chief Information Officer for Pictorial Offset Corporation, a high-end middle-market commercial printing company, Ms. Pease's leadership of the IT Department provided competitive advantage to the company. A member of the firm's Steering Committee, she led the company's ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 initiatives, ensured Y2K compliance and achieved corporate-wide technology standardization. Additionally, during an interim 7-month period, Ms. Pease was Acting Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Pictorial, Ms. Pease was on the staff of Logic Associates, a software development company providing integrated business management systems for the graphic arts industry. While with Logic, she worked on-site with clients implementing business management systems. In addition to training and supporting users, she led Quality Action Teams on several projects. Later during her tenure at Logic, she was selected to open up a West Coast Sales operation in San Francisco, CA creating an expanded marketing and sales presence for the company. Ms. Pease has been a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association since 2002, serving in the role of Treasurer (2008-2011) and Education Director (2006-2007). She has been a member of Infragard since 2002, which is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the private sector. She speaks frequently on information security, has published several articles, and has been interviewed several times by ABC News and Good Morning America.

Dr. Stahl is a pioneer in the field of information security, having entered the field in 1980. Earlier in his career he secured teleconferencing at the White House, databases inside Cheyenne Mountain and the communications network controlling our nuclear weapons arsenal. Dr. Stahl excels at helping his clients develop and implement information security management strategies consistent with their unique information security responsibilities, their business realities and their cultural circumstances. He has that rare gift of being able to describe the complexities of information security in a way that makes sense to real-world non-technical business professionals. Dr. Stahl's unusual leadership and management capabilities were developed through a career filled with growth, innovation and achievement in the management of technology and its strategic integration into the organization. He has honed his craft not only through his extensive experience in the management of information security but also through his experiences as (i) COO of an online management education and training company, (ii) a strategic management consultant specializing in business performance, (iii) a software engineer and research scientist in early secure computing and (iv) a mathematics professor. Dr. Stahl is also founder and President of Secure The Village, a non-profit whose mission is a cybersecure Los Angeles. He is Past-President of the LA Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association and the architect of the Chapter's It Takes the Village to Secure the Village SM Community Outreach Program. During the Reagan administration, Dr. Stahl was invited to serve on a White House Presidential Task Force to recommend government strategies to better secure private-sector computer and communications systems. During that same period he was invited to serve on a National Information Security Study Group, a joint program of the National Security Agency and the Department of Commerce designed to determine national information security needs. Dr. Stahl serves on the Board of Directors of the Content Delivery & Security Association; Governor Brown's California Cybersecurity Task Force and the Board of Advisors of CyberCalifornia. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Information Technology Program at the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC and the Advisory Board of UCLA Extension's Emergency Management & Homeland Security and Enterprise Risk Management Programs. Dr. Stahl speaks extensively about information security, both at conferences and at professional or civic associations. Together with David Lam, he co-authored the cybersecurity management section of the ASIS Protection of Assets Manual. He edits the firm's weekly newsletter - the Cybersecurity News of the Week and the Weekend Vulnerability and Patch Report - which is emailed to nearly 20,000 people every week. Dr. Stahl earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from The University of Michigan and spent nearly 15 years teaching university mathematics while doing fundamental research in the mathematics of computing.
