INDUSTRY ADVOCATES - Key Persons
Mr. Horner is the founder and principal of Industry Advocates, LLC which was formed to serve the entire regulated petroleum industry of South Carolina. Industry Advocates is uniquely positioned to resolve issues with regulatory agencies, work to change regulation or statutes as needed and can provide 3rd party oversight - all in an effort to ensure that the policies and procedures that everyone in the community follows are the best that they can be for the industry.
Prior to Industry Advocates he worked as Director of Business Development for an environmental consulting and engineering firm.
He has a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University and is the founder of Brightstar Educational Resources, a non-profit organization that provides resources for academically exceptional underprivileged children.
Mr. Horner is married to Shari, has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. He and Shari live in Simpsonville SC where they attend Grace Church. When not working he enjoys playing golf, hanging out with the grandkids and watching the Tigers.
