Our team participates in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) which has four different levels, Junior FLL, FLL, FTC, and FRC. Our team participates in the FRC division, which is for high schoolers, and they have six weeks to build a fully functional robot. Our team headquarters is located in Matthews, IN. Our team is comprised of four main different sub teams: Mechanical, Programming, Woodworking, & Media... PhyXTGears Robotics Team 1720 formed in 2005. Our team is located in Matthews, Indiana. We've made it to the FIRST World Championship 4 times so far (2015, 2017, 2018, & 2019) and continue to aspire for more Championship events. We currently have alumni studying in such fields as engineering, computer science, biology, virtual reality, nursing, and linguistics and pride ourselves in the role we play in developing and nurturing the interests and skills of our students...
