I grow a very diverse garden on a 1/5th acre city lot of Eugene, Oregon. Over the last 20 years, my yard has transformed from a rental house lot landscaped with gravel and grass to an amazing food forest. Numerous methods and organic inputs have been used to build, nurture and tend my gardens throughout the years. My yard is teeming with a vast diversity of life! Plants, insects, animals, birds, reptiles, microbes, fungi, fish, humans and more.
I am humbled by the attention my garden gets from people all over Eugene. People come to see my garden transition during seasonal changes, and to see what new plants I have managed to squeeze into my yard each year. Ornamentals to edibles, my garden nourishes my family, friends and neighbors physically, mentally & spiritually. A favorite garden icon is a weeping mulberry that has a "cave" inside for kids. Even adults find it an irresistable experience.
My garden is a beautiful representation of diversity and abundance. What peaks your interest? Jujube were a fruit before they were a candy. Get your Goumi here. How about an Aronia? Perehaps you'll have a Santa Teresa Lemon, a Changsha Mandarin, a Fuyu Persimmon and a Joey Avocado. Yes please! Add a Pineapple Guava and some Olives to enrich your harvest.
I have also become well known for my expertise in growing cannabis. After 20+ years of cultivation and consulting experience, I have learned how to simply nurture the plant's inherent growth properties to help it reach its full potential, and my recent harvests are some of my finest harvests to date.
