It exists to improve performance of CSOs through the promotion and application of minimum standards of excellence and voluntary independent certification... Viwango is led by an independent Board of Directors with leadership from across civil society in Kenya. Current members include Allavida, Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Poverty Eradication Network (PEN), Voluntary Services Oversees (VSO), Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF), The Constitution and Reform Education Consortium of Kenya (CRECO), East Africa Philanthropy Network (EAPN), ActionAid, Peacenet and Act! Kenya.
