WELLNESS WHEEL

Wellness Wheel is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2016 by Dr. Stuart Skinner. As an infectious disease specialist, he has cultivated a passion for working directly with communities to address the high incidence of chronic diseases in Indigenous populations. He believes that effective health care for Indigenous people should not be limited to clinic visits with practitioners, but rather should include traditional and non-traditional care to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of the individual, family, and community... Wellness Wheel aims to provide equitable access to high-quality clinical and holistic care for Indigenous and vulnerable populations. Individuals are supported through every stage of the health care process to ensure high-quality care is provided in a timely and effective manner. Wellness Wheel is committed to providing continuity of care to those with the highest needs and the least access.
