Andy Scicluna

Job Titles:
  • Senior Trainer
Andy started his career as a secondary school Computer Science teacher, having studied Web Systems Development at University. Andy moved into Law Enforcement in 2016 to further his interest in digital forensics and digital investigation techniques. Whilst supporting the Digital Media Investigation Unit in Lancashire Police, Andy worked in both Digital Forensics and Digital Media Investigations gaining a significant amount of operational experience in a pioneering team around Cloud investigations and Workforce Capabilities. Outside of work Andy is a hardcore gamer (sweaty/skilled), he uses Xbox and PC to dominate. Basically in a 1:1 on COD you are dead before your finger touches R2/RT.

Kelly Manning

Job Titles:
  • Training Coordinator
Kelly is the person behind the emails and phone calls who keeps the machine oiled, ensuring the correct people are on the right courses on the right dates with the right information. Kelly is responsible for coordinating all of the courses and training schedules and helping to keep Vestigo as flexible and helpful as possible to all of our clients.

Mark Newman

Job Titles:
  • Lead Trainer
Mark has 18 years of experience in law enforcement, a former Detective Constable of Greater Manchester Police. Mark worked in various roles ranging from uniformed and plainclothes policing, intelligence management, gang-related violence and covert investigations before transferring in 2016 to the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit. In the Regional Crime Unit, Mark continued his work in covert operations focusing his attention on the online exploitation of children. The chief constable commended him for his tenacity and professionalism in bringing to justice over 170 sex offenders and safeguarding over 200 children over three years. Mark is in the final year of an MSc in Cyber Security & Intelligence at the University of Warwick and has ended his time in policing to work in cyberspace, particularly focusing on Dark Web & Cryptocurrency Investigations. Outside of work, Mark can make a mean pizza and even does that spinny thing with the dough over his head. Mark sits in the PS5 camp, usually running around a map firing into thin air before rage quitting.

Mark Rowntree

Job Titles:

Mark is a former Police officer from Merseyside and Lancashire police with over 37 years of experience in law enforcement. Mark worked for many years as a Senior Intelligence Officer. Mark was a DMI and III Practitioner covering many high profile operations and investigations. Prior to joining Vestigo, Mark coordinated III Training and was the Long Arm® SPoC for Lancashire Constabulary Mark joined Vestigo in March 2021 as a specialist III trainer, specialising in social media investigation. Mark is often found scouting new and upcoming social media sites identifying new techniques and methodology for training. Outside of work, Mark loves spending time with his family and holidaying in the UK and abroad. Mark is running old school PS4 but doesn't like to talk about it.

Neil Greenough

Neil is one of the most operationally experienced digital investigation practitioners out there, having retired from Lancashire Constabulary in January 2021. Neil is a specialist in pretty much everything involving Digital Media and has put those skills to good effect as the Digital Media Coordinator in many major crime investigations over the last 15 years. Neil works with a ‘find a way' attitude to problems which has helped convict many serious criminals. As the Lead Trainer for Vestigo, Neil is imparting all his knowledge, attitude and experience into our training courses and workshops. Outside of work, Neil is a Gym hound, beer-drinking, live music lover with a lust for foreign travel. Neil is also a gamer but lacks skills in a COD free for all (Camper). Neil recently defected from PS4 to Xbox Series X.

Rob Haimes

Job Titles:
  • Senior Trainer
Rob has been extensively involved in the investigation of the online space since 2015, initially during his MSc in Forensic Investigation, whilst working as an OSINT analyst, before moving into Law Enforcement in 2017 as an Intelligence Development Officer within regional CT policing. Rob became a regional III Specialist and predominantly provided operational support within both the intelligence and investigative space.   For the final two years Rob was his regions Delivery Lead for III, where he was responsible for the creation, management and development of the III team, generation of regional III policies and oversight of all III practices across the region. In 2022, Rob received a commendation for being instrumental in the development of the regional III capability. Outside of work, Rob claims to be a keen sportsman playing hockey, football, golf and co-creating the mighty sport of K-ball (You will have to come to Vestigo to learn more about this). He will also find any excuse to inflate his paddleboard. Rob has an Xbox, but refuses to play online because he is scared.

Steve Manning

Job Titles:
  • Director of Training
Steve is for former Detective Constable with 17 years of experience with Cheshire Constabulary and one of the founders of Internet Investigation Solutions, the company behind the Long Arm® platform and parent company to Vestigo. Steve is an operationally experienced internet investigator, having worked in covert policing roles for many years. Steve also worked as a Digital Forensics Investigator. Steve is an experienced trainer specialising in III, RIPA Outside of Vestigo and IIS, Steve is a keen Skier, Mountain Biker & Sea Kayaker with a love of the Sea and Mountains, but he can also hold his own in a round of Call of Duty Multiplayer (Xbox).
