Having had some 20 years in the trailer industry, specialising in bespoke fabrication of trailers for the marine and industrial markets, many of the trailers became too big for the average vehicle to tow, so it became natural progression for us to offer a professional towing service... This started in the mid - nineties with large 4x4 vehicles, and soon we realised the potential of mini-artics and became the first operator of a specific mini-artic boat trailer which had a capacity of around 5 tonnes. Within a short period, particularly as boats were getting bigger and clients upgrading, we soon had to purchase a full 40 tonne artic rig.
