Dave's 30+ years experience includes extensive work in both general and medical device marketing through his own agency, MRC Medical Communications. He has served some of the world's leading Medical Device and Healthcare companies as a consultant, marketing strategist, writer, video producer and creative director.
David's extensive career spans over 30 years in the corporate and private technology sector. He holds 30 patents and is a recognized expert in the LED field.
His positions prior to AUVS have included engineering manager at Thomas & Betts Corpo ration; Director of Prod uct Management at Acuity Brands Lighting, Holophane, AEL, and DTL Solutions Division; Chief Development Officer and later Interim COO of Lighting Science Group (LSGC), a publicly traded company. At LSGC, David expanded the company's annual revenue from $4M to a $140M run rate in less than 24 months. He has worked on notable projects including Google's Android @Home, the first launch of Google into the Home Automation segment.
As COO of AUVS, David has been instrumental in developing the BP3131 BRAD system for Indoor Air Disinfection and the company's Building-Automation-Ready Disinfection System (BARDS), adding significant value to the company's industry-leading device, surface and air disinfection product line.
With 30 year's experience developing intense UV sources, AUVS Chief Technology Officer Dr. Wayne Clark is one the nation's leading experts on UV energy for antimicrobial applications.
