Chris Kirkham

Chris is a recognised DP who has built a renowned reputation through the consistent quality of his production work by leading broadcasters and programme managers worldwide. In 1997 Chris set up NZ Greenroom Productions Limited (www.nzgreen.tv) and was based within Wanaka at the time. He went out and built a network of trusted TV production professionals with similar values and aspirations. His initial target market was extreme sports & adventure tourism, but soon after his work was winning the attention of leading broadcasters and international audiences. Today Chris is regarded as the supplier of choice by the likes of the BBC, Red Bull Media House, Whisper Films and TVNZ. He has produced a wide variety of content ranging from Ski Sunday, Wimbledon, the Winter and Summer Olympics, the Commonwealth Games, and the Rugby World Cup.

Chris Thornton

Chris Thornton is a seasoned maritime professional well versed in creating and promoting a culture focused on safety. Chris has experience developing and implementing action plans, monitoring H&S compliance and optimising programs to simplify processes, improve management efficiency and minimise incidents in our working environment. As a Coastguard and Maritime NZ skipper, proficient jet ski rider and a seasoned high level kayak instructor (NZOIA) on lakes and rivers, Chris is immersed in water safety training and education throughout the year.

Mark Morrison

Mark has extensive experience in the Adventure Tourism industry having worked in the outdoors for the last 25 years. Mark is a qualified Alpine guide and has vast experience in writing, implementing and managing Safety Management SystemsMark is the owner of Our Planet Ltd, a New Zealand based company that has built and now operates Wildwire, the World's Highest Waterfall Via Ferrata . (www.wildwire.co.nz)It is 500 metres high, and has three different levels from beginner to advanced. It covers over 1000m of climbing and has over 2500 rungs installed. Additionally, there are 7 bridges installed ranging from standard easy wooden plank wire bridges, to challenging 2 wire bridges. The adventure climb was designed to have 3 grades, easy, medium and hard. It has an annual turnover of 5000 person trips.

Martin Wilson

Martin is an engineer and has owned and operated Abseil Access (www.abseilaccess.co.nz) for 35 years, and has a wealth of experience behind him in managing teams working at heights, industrial abseiling and building bridges throughout New Zealand and the world. Martin works in collaboration with Malcolm Nielson an independent Chartered Engineer for all our design and build projects.A qualified engineer and active mountain climber, Abseil Access co-founder Martin is a director who likes to get his hands dirty. His passion is designing and constructing suspension bridges.BEng Hons (Leeds) - Mining and Mineral engineering; 30 years of project management in geotechnical, coatings, inspection and construction projects, New Zealand wide; 72 suspension bridge builds in NZ and the pacific islands; 26 years of installations, inspection, repairs, and coatings in the energy sector, radars and marine beacons; Approved Handler Explosives Blasting (1.1B, 1.1D, 1.4S).

Paul McLaren

Paul has extensive experience in sports event management and marketing and has managed multiple projects in Oman under the auspices of Oman's Ministry of Sports Affairs. After living in and organising projects in Oman for 5+ years, Paul has a vast experience of the local culture, rules and regulations and knows what is required for project success.

Rebecca Mayston

Rebecca is the self proclaimed Desert Queen of Oman, after organising hundreds of desert safaris throughout Oman. She started the Oman movement of women (local and expatriate) into the world of adventures, camping, and off-road driving. She is the Jeep ambassador with 10+yrs experience in Oman with a focus on destination marketing.

Wayo Carson

Wayo has worked extensively in New Zealand on a huge number of rope access jobs doing everything from anchor installation, to slope stabilisation. Wayo has worked for many years with one of NZ's largest construction companies (www.fultonhogan.com) as their primary Rope Access Technician. He has also set routes for climbing competitions and has established rock climbing routes around New Zealand - as many as 60, he estimates. One of his well-known Wanaka routes is a stiff grade 25, five-pitch (approximately 120 metre) route at Wishbone Falls in the Matukituki Valley, called ‘Fat Freddy'. He has also climbed in the USA, Australia, Thailand, France, Spain and the UK.
