Adam Bernard

Adam Bernard began his career with Equitable Advisors in 2016. He has obtained FINRA Securities Registrations Series 7, 24, and 66, has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation as well as his Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses. Adam's goal is to help individuals, families and business grow financially by leveraging his focus in retirement planning and asset management strategies. His professional approach offers a thorough analysis of goals, priorities and resources to develop a customized strategy for each of his clients. The result is a portfolio of strategies with the potential to start his clients on their way toward achieving financial success. Maintaining a strong sense of community and family is very important. Adam currently serves on the board for the Orange County Police Athletic League (PAL). When Adam is not helping his clients reach their goals, he enjoys spending time with family and being out on the golf course.

Alex MacFarlane

Alex brings a unique and dedicated perspective to the Axiom Wealth Alliance team. After implementing Zen Buddhism into his day-to-day life during young adulthood, he says he had a lightbulb moment years later and began bringing Eastern teachings into his business and finance background. Today, as he assists clients with wealth accumulation and protection strategies, he also discusses behavioral finance and how clients can better understand the different emotions and mindsets around money. Alex is a 2009 graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. In his mid-20s, he lived in Asia, where he started learning about Zen Buddhism and meditation. Away from the office, Alex enjoys skiing, squash, hockey, concerts and simply being in nature.

Kristopher Haanes

"Establish an agile financial plan. Stick to the plan and adapt as life unfolds." Kristopher believes in creating a framework to help drive success in accomplishing your financial goals. An entrepreneur at heart, he enjoys meeting new people and developing meaningful relationships. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged at a young age; Kristopher started his first business at age 17. As an entrepreneur himself, he admires the many skillsets and agility of business leaders running their companies and seeks to partner with and help them in their journey. He offers investment strategies through a customized experience at Axiom Wealth Alliance. He has been featured in Denver Business Journal. Kristopher is a graduate of New Mexico State University, with bachelor's and master's degrees in accountancy. He has passed the Series 7 and 63 securities exams. Kristopher is engaged and lives in Denver. He's an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly-fishing, riding horses and snowboarding.

Randy Stinson

"Work with a financial planner who builds out an entire plan for you." Randy is devoted to the details when he shares these words of advice, coming from an actuarial background. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied actuarial mathematics. As an actuary and analyst, he worked with statewide retirement systems on their pension plans but wanted to evolve his work further by working directly with people in need of financial planning help. That's when Randy moved to retirement income planning, and he's now been an advisor for more than five years as he brings his knowledge to the Axiom Wealth Alliance team. He holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation from the American College of Financial Services, and he has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams. Away from the office, it's all about sports for Randy - whether it's playing or watching. He lives in Vail and enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, pickleball, golf and disc golf. And cheers! - Randy co-owns a craft brewery in downtown Denver: Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery.

Robert C. Wayland

Rob brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, graduating with honors from the University of Florida in 1996 with a double major in finance and insurance. He has attained a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation and a retirement distribution specialist title. His work experience includes Franklin Templeton in the home office, financial specialist at Wachovia Bank, wholesaling retirement distribution strategies, and to date, running his own financial firm in the Clearwater area.

Russ Porter

For over 20 years Russ has worked with small employers to develop and service meaningful retirement plans that establish strong relationships between employers and employees. More than offering a group of mutual funds, Russ strives to help participants understand how to build personal wealth and investments. This fosters a collective commitment to build a strong company where employees feel appreciated, and employers are empowered to build their companies. For investors who want their values to be represented in the investments they select, Russ reviews and supports decisions that reflect personal values in their portfolios. In addition to supporting retirement plans, Russ helps participants understand how to protect their income and families with appropriate insurance products, such as life insurance, disability income insurance and long-term care insurance. Russ is a graduate of Harding University and The University of Nebraska and holds several designations including Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) from The American College of Financial Services and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Away from the office, Russ enjoys Colorado's outdoors and traveling with his wife Giselle. He also serves on the Sister Carmen Community Center board of directors in Lafayette.

Todd A. Bower

Todd has seen his personal and professional paths become one, and both continue to travel the same road: the road of family and service. After 30 years serving the public as a firefighter, Todd is ready to serve the community in another significant way: as a financial advisor. Hired as a firefighter for the Denver Fire Department in 1993, Todd worked his way through the ranks, including 10 years as second in command as the deputy fire chief of the department operating as COO and CFO, eventually being named interim fire chief of the DFD in 2020. Additionally, he participated in 25 years of collective bargaining negotiations. Throughout his civic career, he remained committed to learning and higher education, earning advanced degrees in business, finance and law. He also served in executive positions during his career, including 18 years as a public pension plan trustee, where he served two terms as vice chairman and chairman of the board as well as on numerous committees and task forces to create and advocate for legislation to improve the rights and resources of his fellow public employees. Todd earned his MBA in finance and accounting from Regis University and his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Denver. He also received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law and passed the Colorado bar exam in 1999. He has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams. Todd is married to his high school sweetheart, Anntonette (Toni), and they have two grown children - both studying in medical school - and a daughter-in-law, who is a pharmacist.
