Mr. Hawkins is a lifelong resident of Manatee County and has practiced law in Bradenton since 1979 - over 44 years. He was a partner in the law firm of Grimes Hawkins Gladfelter and Galvano for nearly 40 years. During this period of time Mr. Hawkins' practice emphasized general business, personal injury, construction, and commercial litigation representing individuals, corporations, contractors, institutional, and private lenders. In addition, Mr. Hawkins has handled complicated and emotionally sensitive divorce and child custody cases as a family law attorney for over 40 years. He has held certifications for Circuit Court and Family Law Mediations since 2002, having mediated hundreds of cases over the past 20+ years - as both a mediator and as an attorney representing various clients.
