Frits is a director of Erso Capital. A Dutch national, Frits qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. In addition to his role as director of Erso Capital, Frits is also development director at Thomas Miller. In this role, he assists Thomas Miller and its clients with their corporate development activities. Prior to joining Thomas Miller in 2003, Frits worked for one of world's largest reinsurance companies in Zurich and London.

James co-founded Erso Capital in 2020 and serves as a director. James has enjoyed a 20-year + unique and entrepreneurial career exclusively in the litigation finance and risk transfer industry. Prior to establishing Erso, James was a principal at TheJudge, widely regarded as one of Europe's premier litigation insurance and funding brokerages. In late 2019, TheJudge was acquired by Thomas Miller Group, a leading international insurance service provider and investment manager. James continues to hold a directorship in TheJudge. Utilizing all the financial instruments available through Erso and its affiliates, James prides himself on being able to apply his significant market experience in order take a holistic and flexible approach to structuring litigation investments. James has contributed as author and thought leader on litigation finance and insurance topics for over 15 years, both in mainstream press such as the FT and The Times, as well as in legal publications, such as The Lawyer and Global Arbitration Review. James' career in this specialist sector has seen him undertaking roles as broker, underwriter and now fund manager. James holds a master's degree in Law.

Leanne is a Director at Erso Capital. Based in New Jersey, Leanne is a lawyer with qualifications in New York, Ireland and England and Wales. She obtained her LLB from Trinity College Dublin and holds a diploma from the International Group of Protection and Indemnity Clubs P&I (P&IQ) program. In addition to her work with Erso, Leanne is also Regional Director for the UK P&I Club and the UK Defence Club at Thomas Miller, with responsibility for claims and servicing operations in North and South America. She is also President of Fairlead Group Inc. Prior to joining Thomas Miller, Leanne was President and Regional Claims Director of another International Group P&I Club, where she spent 10 years between the New York and London offices. Leanne began her legal career as a solicitor specializing in insurance defence litigation for a law firm in Dublin, Ireland. Leanne is a member of the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (CMA), the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), among other maritime industry bodies.

Nick is Director at Erso Capital PCC. A corporate lawyer with over 25 years experience, Nick was involved in managing and overseeing the growth of Appleby's Isle of Man office and its commercial department for 13 years. From 2009 to 2014, he served two terms on the global management board. Nick is a qualified Isle of Man advocate (1994), a solicitor of England and Wales (2000, non-practising) and a solicitor of Eastern Caribbean of the Supreme Court (2010). He was Chairperson and then President of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce from 2007-2011 and sat, by invitation of the Isle of Man Government, on the Isle of Man Financial Strategic Partnership until 2014. In 2014, Nick joined a venture capital company, where he sat on the board of the two companies the business had invested in - Plan Communications Limited and Vannin Capital PCC. The former company won the prestigious Sunday Times award for the Fastest Growing Tech business in the UK in 2018; and the latter was sold to Fortress Investment Group the following year. Nick also sat on Vannin's During his time on the board of Vannin's investment committee, participating in decisions to invest in cases across the globe, ranging from single commercial litigation, insolvency, IP and international arbitration cases, to portfolios of claims and financing, to group actions and judgment enforcements. Vannin was sold to Fortress Investment Group in 2019.

Sarah is Investment Manager at Erso Capital. Sarah is an English qualified solicitor-advocate. She has a unique combination of practice at a senior level as a corporate/commercial litigator, and as a director-level disputes knowledge lawyer. Prior to joining Erso she led the team of disputes knowledge lawyers at global firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. A significant part of her role involved forging the firm's policy and practice with regards to litigation funding, insurance and alternative fee arrangements. She brings a wealth of experience in the way lawyers approach questions of funding and costs with their clients, and understanding the impact of funding on the process and outcomes of disputes.

Stephen is a director of Erso Capital PCC. In addition to his role with Erso, Stephen is also a director at Thomas Miller, which he joined in October 2009. Stephen benefits from over 20 years' experience in the financial services sector, initially with a London-based consultancy specialising in wholesale and retail banking. Following a move to the Isle of Man in 2004, Stephen began focusing on the offshore insurance sector. Stephen is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) by background and holds an MEng (hons) first class degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a PhD in Mechanical Engineering Stephen is Approved by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority and is a Member of the IOMFSA Insurance Steering Group.
