Since 2001 Fire Service International (FSI), through Hearts in Motion, has been delivering firefighting, EMS, and other emergency services training to other nations in need--mostly Guatemala, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and other parts of Central and South America. These training events are delivered primarily outside the U.S. within the host nations, however FSI also arranges for international firefighters to travel to attend training programs in the U.S. FSI also aids international fire service organizations locate and purchase safe and affordable fire apparatus & equipment, and also offers consulting services, disaster planning, and policy creation & review.
