BUCHANAN & ASSOCIATES - Key Persons

Andrew Buchanan is well versed in all aspects of accountancy, having trained and worked at one of East Midlands' premier practices for the past 28 years, latterly as a Partner. Finding that he was becoming remote from his clients, his decision to go back to basics led to the establishment of Buchanan and Associates with the aim of forming a close and on-going relationship with each of his clients and their businesses right from the start.

Simon Hill, an AAT qualified accountant, joined Buchanan & Associates at the end of May 2015. Simon had worked with Andrew and trained in private practice earlier in his career before spending 8 years working as an accountant for the Local District Council in their finance department. He had wanted to get back into private practice for some time so when Andrew approached him he was pleased and excited to be part of his new venture for the future.
