EMILYRAINBOWDAVIS

I founded Messenger Theatre Company in 2001 with two friends from college. I write, direct and produce almost everything we do. Our stuff ranges from plays, to readings, to educational performances, to Shakespeare, to masks, to clown, to puppets, to improvised mask shows and as of 2020, audio dramas as well... It is said there were nine muses. They whispered inspiration into the ears of the ancient artists - each muse inspired a different art. In the ancient times, muses like Euterpe and Terpsichore spoke to men and it was a sort of one to one relationship. Homer appealed to Calliope and she helped him make an epic poem... Emily Rainbow Davis is theatre artist, writer, podcaster, singer-songwriter, clown, Feldenkrais practitioner, Shakespeare nerd and creatrix.
