Amy's real property and natural resources practice focuses on helping interest holders navigate the complexities of property law across the Rocky Mountain region.
She studied and taught English and American Literature in Colorado and Wyoming, and with the Peace Corps in Morocco and then, moved her career into law. With a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming, she worked in Denver specializing in oil and gas title examination and advising oil and gas operators on exploration and development issues.
She founded her own Law Firm, Mowry Law, in 2015 to better tailor her services to the unique needs of each of her clients with their real property concerns and is a valuable alliance partner with James C Karo Associates. Active in the pursuit of the evolution of American land law Amy is a licensed attorney in Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana.
David has ten years of experience in real estate and oil and gas before he joined James C Karo Associates. He attention to detail and the impact of numbers served him well in quickly rising above the field in the world of oil and gas easements and rights of way. He has been the lead man on numerous projects throughout the producing basins in the Rockies.
Duane brings a broad GIS skill set as well as longstanding field negotiating experience to James C Karo Associates. He has been involved in every large scale project for over a decade and his particular focus is within our Pipeline and Easement activities. Duane has been instrumental in a number of Colorado and Wyoming transportation projects moving natural gas, crude oil and CO2 through Colorado.

Matt broke into the oil and gas industry working at a drilling company during summer breaks while attending college at Colorado State University. After college, he was employed doing market research, but quickly gravitated toward the land side of the business where he started running title and leasing minerals. Later he became more actively involved with operations and began negotiating surface use agreements and rights-of-way. His greatest strengths are his communication skills, creating trust and maintaining dialogue with the land or mineral owner, understanding their needs and blending them with the needs of the client to establish a win-win commitment.
Professional in his demeanor, skilled in his approach, he has long been an asset to the James C Karo Associates team.

Mr. Lawrence has been offering architectural, interior and planning services throughout the United States since 1992. He has unique experience in office and warehouse facility design, religious architecture, multi-family residential architecture, as well as custom residential architecture. Originally from Chicago and a student of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mr. Lawrence also studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture in Paris before completing his degree and becoming licensed.
As a talented and creative designer, he has incorporated cost effective and conscientious building styles into economical projects that earn high marks for environmental (LEED) elements as well as provide generous cash flow to the owners and groups that have taken advantage of his services.
Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Karo funded, designed and completed a series of build to suit projects for the General Services Administration on behalf of tenants such as the Social Security Administration, The Bureau of Land Management, Homeland Security and the US Customs and Border Patrol.

Without someone to track a budget, its impossible to stay within it, Patti brings accounting to the fore-front of our operations. A 19xx graduate of the xyz school of accounting, she interfaces closely with our tax group and keeps tabs on our expense patterns to maintain our clients budget in sharp focus. She has been an invaluable member of our team since 2002.
Attention to detail is second nature to Sharon, a skill that comes easily and has served her well for over 13 years as a title analyst and examiner. Educated in accounting and business management from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, she pulled books as a field landman before managing projects, running brokers and operating an office. She brings a broad business depth in a principled and detailed manner that keeps projects on time and on budget.
Our California Native, Zach spent 5 years working in a Fidelity Title Plant before joining James C Karo Associates as a title examiner. He has worked on numerous projects in the Sacramento Basin, the LA Basin and in Bakersfield and knows what it takes to find ALL of the documents in a chain.
