Anne Lewis

Anne Lewis obtained her BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from Leeds University, her Secondary English PGCE (with QTS) from Warwick University and her MSc in the Psychology of Education from the IoE, University of London. After her undergraduate degree, Anne taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain. She then spent 2 years working as an Assistant English Teacher on the Japanese government's JET Programme. Since completing her PGCE in 2009, Anne has worked in state and independent settings. Her experience includes 3 years as a Teacher and Coordinator at London's leading day school for children with specific learning difficulties. Anne spent 4 years as Deputy SENCo, and then SENCo, at a new University Technical College, before joining David Game College in 2021. She is currently the SENCo, Deputy Safeguarding Lead and Head of Pastoral Care. Her responsibilities include the following: coordinating the provision for students with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND); managing the exam access arrangements process; co-ordinating the PSHE curriculum; managing access to the College Counsellor. Anne has completed the National Award in SEN Coordination and she has a Level 7 Certificate in Psychometric Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements. She has also received training on leading behaviour and culture, and teaching the .b mindfulness curriculum.

Mr Kaveh is co-founder of the UFP and the Course Director. Before founding the UFP in 1989, Mr Kaveh lead a distinguished career as one of London's top Mathematics teachers at David Game College. He's always available to help our students in their University choices and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on. Outside of the UFP, Mr Kaveh enjoys flying his own light aircraft.

Nedaa Belal

Nedaa has a degree in English Language and Literature from Damascus University and an MBA from Hull University, specialising in Human Resource Management. Nedaa has corporate experience as a senior manager in BMW within the Middle East. Her two main roles at the College are Safeguarding and Head of the GCSE Department. As Head of Safeguarding and the Senior DSL, Nedaa leads a team and has significant contact with local authority professionals. As Head of GCSE, she is in charge of students of compulsory school age (CSA) and provides students with a structured programme that includes pastoral care as well as advice and support on financial and health matters. Nedaa works closely with GCSE teachers and monitors students' attendance, and the academic and personal progress of all students. In addition to her PSHE role, Nedaa arranges a programme of visits by outside speakers who make a positive contribution to the curriculum for GCSE students, in particular the support curriculum, including speakers for PSHE and RSE activities. Within the College, Nedaa is an active member of the College Pastoral Care team, Academic Board Committee, as well as the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Student Committee and Risk and Issue Committee.

Sarah Lederman

Sarah Lederman holds a BA in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Art and an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University. She has exhibited widely both in London and internationally, including in New York, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Los Angeles. Sarah has shown alongside Tracey Emin and Cecily Brown. She Won the Catlin Art Prize and was included in the Griffin Art Prize. Her work is held in numerous private and public collections internationally.

Siobhan has a BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in Film and Screen Media with Film Programming and Curating and a PGCE, all obtained from the University of London. Siobhan joined David Game College in 2020 with over 20 years teaching experience in a sixth form college environment. As Head of UCAS and Careers, she is responsible for over-seeing all of the UCAS applications and offers students one-to-one guidance with careers and university choices. Siobhan is also Head of Film Studies and is a regular contributor to Media Magazine - EMC's quarterly magazine for A Level Media and Film Studies Students. Siobhan is also Head of Curriculum Development and as an active member of the Academic Monitoring Committee, works alongside the Head of Sixth Form to monitor teaching and learning.
