Carolyn Anger is the founder of Anger & Associates. She is widely known as one of the top eDiscovery professionals in Canada and has been working in the world of legal technology and eDiscovery for two decades. She is an expert in the eDiscovery process with a focus on people, technology and process management. Carolyn prides herself on providing effective and creative solutions through project management principles, research, and previous hands-on experience. She is a leader who provides guidance and support on data management and case management issues, overcoming challenges by leveraging technology, processes, and best practices to manage the risks associated with electronic data. Carolyn is a former manager of litigation support and eDiscovery at a Bay Street law firm in Toronto, Canada where she spent 10 years delivering on the eDiscovery process and technology needs across the firm from information governance, document identification and collection through to presentation at trial and beyond. Prior to that Carolyn worked with Discovery vendors in Toronto and Vancouver assisting with the management of small- and large-scale matters. Carolyn started off in the world of IT as a Systems Integrator and like many eDiscovery professionals was introduced to the world of litigation support through happenstance. Carolyn is the current President and a founding board member of the Toronto chapter of ACEDS. She is also a founding member and has served as a director on the not-for-profit board of the Toronto chapter of Women in eDiscovery. Additionally, she is an active member of Sedona Canada, PACC, and ARMA. Carolyn is continuously learning new technologies and holds multiple industry-related certifications. Carolyn Anger is a favourite among peers in the Canadian market, who laud her as a "very seasoned e-discovery practitioner" and "a leader in the industry".
