Hugh Storry Deans is a Partner at Harold G Walker Solicitors and Head of the firm's Dispute Resolution Department. With a wealth of experience, Hugh has a proven track record in resolving complex contractual disputes, securing favourable outcomes for his clients.
Hugh earned a BA Hons before attending the College of Law to qualify as a solicitor. Additionally, he is an accredited mediator for alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Before joining Harold G Walker in 2004, Hugh was a partner in a well-known city firm with offices in Southampton. Currently, he serves as the head of litigation services based in Christchurch, focusing on commercial, property, and related litigation, as well as probate and defamation claims.
Hugh is primarily based at our Christchurch office. However, recognising the importance of accessibility, he also travels to our branch offices to meet with clients. Michele joined HGW Solicitors in 2022 and works in the Business Administration Department.
She has worked within the financial sector for over forty years, primarily as an auditor responsible for reviewing accounts and treasury systems and procedures. She specializes in risk analysis, ensuring the presence of controls within areas such as money laundering, data protection, and banking regulations
During her spare time, Michele enjoys travelling, particularly to Devon to admire the beautiful Jurassic coast. She also enjoys caravanning and cruising, with Norway being a preferred destination due to its stunning scenery. Apart from that, she has a passion for DIY projects, antiques, and Morris Minors. She has played the trumpet for many years in various local bands.

Since joining the firm in 2000, Nicola Lowe has built an exceptional reputation in the Wimborne area for her expertise in a variety of legal disciplines. She specialises in Wills, Probate and all aspects of work relating to the older people including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications. Nicola was also head of the busy conveyancing department for several years and has vast experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing and related property matters.
Before qualifying as a solicitor Nicola was a nurse working in the community with older patients and as a result, has experience of dealing with those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and those who have been bereaved. Nicola has empathy and compassion when dealing with older clients, and has been instrumental in ensuring that all staff are "Dementia Friendly" trained.
An active member of the Bournemouth and District Law Society, Nicola is also one of a team of solicitors who provide an advisory service at the Wimborne Citizens Advice Bureau. In the past, she helped to organise a local charity event in Wimborne raising over £10,000 for Poole Hospital. Nicola is a trustee on the Board of Relate which is a charitable organisation supporting cross-border family relationships.
Having always lived in Dorset, Nicola enjoys reading, walking, cycling, cooking, and going to the theatre. Nicola also has a keen interest in homeopathic remedies and alternative therapies holds a Reiki practitioner certificate and is a Companion of the Chalice Well Garden in Glastonbury - a retreat for people of all faiths and denominations.
