Abbas Alimorad

Abbas has over 15 years of Project/Program/Portfolio Management experience with a proven track record in leading I.T., eHealth, Clinical, and Healthcare Projects. Strong leadership and communication skills combined with the passion for coaching and mentoring project managers and team members. A result-driven individual, focusing on project monitoring, delivery, and customer satisfaction while consistently achieving client satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations on multi-million-dollar projects. He has worked in private and public and volunteered for a not-for-profit in roles as V.P. Finance, V.P. Programs, Sr. Project Manager, Portfolio Management, Instructor, Business Support Specialist, and Program Analysis. Abbas holds a Master's degree from the University of Guelph majoring in Leadership, Master of Professional Education majoring in Educational Leadership from Western University, and is a certified Project Management Professional, holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and Lean and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS). His experience with clients ranges in numerous industries which includes federal and provincial government, healthcare, telecommunications, service, education institute, and automotive. Abbas also volunteered with the Project Management Institute (PMI); and presented and facilitated at numerous Project Management Institute leadership functions, and events such as PMI-LIM (Leadership Institute Meeting), Region 3, and Local Chapters.
