Annie has been an Independent Educational Consultant since 2013. She has an in depth knowledge of boarding schools and independent day schools throughout the country, from touring schools and developing relationships with their admissions teams. She takes a personalized approach to her process, striving to get to know her clients as best as she can to ultimately help families find the school that is the right fit for their children. Annie is a Professional Member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association). She completed the IECA Summer Training Institute program in 2013, and attends IECA and other conferences regularly. Before becoming an IEC, Annie was the Assistant Director of Admissions at The Urban School of San Francisco, an independent high school. Besides her work in admissions, Annie was a teacher at Town School for Boys, an independent K-8 school in SF, and has worked at schools on the east coast and abroad. An east coast native, Annie graduated from the Taft School, a boarding school in Connecticut, and received her B.A. in Psychology from Colgate University where she was the captain of the Women's Ice Hockey team. After residing in the Bay Area for nearly 20 years, Annie now lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with her husband, 3 young children and Entlebucher Mountain Dog, and is back to playing hockey!
