I started in Manufacturing as an apprentice, then as a Production Engineer, before moving on to develop IT systems for manufacturing processes. I enjoy supporting customers using our software, especially helping people with problem solving. I've been doing it for so many years that I've lost count.
I've worked in customer support and service for over 20 years, so I know how important it is to provide a single point of contact for your team. My aim is to make sure our customers always have access to help when they need it, resolving issues quickly and effectively to minimise any disruption to production.
Having worked in IT for 25+ years, I believe teamwork is paramount to performing effectively. That's why I aim to provide the link between Development, Engineering, Support and our Customers to help us all be successful.
I'm here to translate our software's features into benefits for our customers and to give people the information they need to be confident, successful users of our system.
I started my 40 year engineering career at 18 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. I take this industry knowledge and insight and feed it into our product development to help increase productivity, visibility and efficiency within your manufacturing operations.
I've been in IT for 30 years, working across several industries, including automotive and aerospace. I have a strong interest in manufacturing and engineering projects as they are often striving to find a solution to a particular challenge; this is a mindset that I like to apply to my daily work.
As an apprentice trained Engineer who worked for a large Automotive parts manufacturer I'm totally at home on the shopfloor. Then with many years spent as an Electrical Service Engineer on numerous types of CNC machines, I have gained knowledge and expertise in machine tool connectivity, now you'll often find me working on the shopfloor of factories all over the UK. There are very few machine makes that I haven't worked with. I use all this experience when installing and training people to successfully use our systems.
My experience of working in various different roles in manufacturing means I can relate to the problems our customers encounter on a daily basis and demonstrate practical approaches with all users in mind. I'm keen to help you find your perfect solution.
I've been at Seiki Systems for over 25 years and have spoken to every customer in that time, working closely from the point we receive their order through ongoing after sale support. It's my responsibility to co-ordinate our delivery teams and services, so anything you need to know regarding the logistics of your system implementation or maintenance support, I'm here to help you.
Having worked with hundreds of customers over the years, one of things I enjoy most is seeing the diversity of manufacturing operations in our industry. From aerospace to kitchens, buses to woodworking and everything in between. I try to pass all the experience I've gained in that time on to my future clients.
