SportsViz are the software developers of industry leading data visualization tools and App's for sports performance analysis. Our lead clients include the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), Osprey's, Newport Gwent Dragons, Cardiff Blues, Llanelli Scarlets, The British and Irish Lions, The Football Association and the Football Association of Wales... SportsViz Ltd is a company with a radically new approach that grew out of ground-breaking research at Swansea University as part of the Welsh Governments Collaborative Industrial Research Programme. Initially funded to undertake research over a three year period into the application of advanced computer visualization techniques for the analysis of video data in sports analysis, the project worked in collaboration with a number of leading sports analysts across the UK. Key partners were the Welsh Rugby Union, Terry Griffiths (former World Champion and leading coach) Matchroom Snooker and the Quintic Consultancy (leaders in professional golf analysis)..
