Alasdair Wilson

Alasdair Wilson has been a consultant vascular surgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary since August 2014. After graduating from Aberdeen University in 2000, he did his basic surgical training and specialist vascular surgical training in Aberdeen. He undertook a specialist vascular and endovascular fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia and following this took up post as a consultant vascular surgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He has a keen interest in the minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins (endovenous laser therapy, radiofrequency ablation (VenefitTM), ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy).

Stuart Suttie

Stuart Suttie is a consultant vascular surgeon at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School. Graduating from Aberdeen University, he did his basic surgical training in Aberdeen after which he undertook a two year period of research towards his Doctorate of Medicine in the Department of Surgery at Aberdeen University. Mr Suttie then went on to complete his specialist vascular surgical training in Dundee before undertaking a specialist vascular and endovascular fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia. Following this Mr Suttie took up post as a consultant vascular surgeon at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. He has a specialist interest in the minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins (radiofrequency ablation (VenefitTM), endovenous laser therapy, ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy). Mr Suttie is passionate about surgical education and research and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
