Voluntas assists communities and individuals to become self-sufficient. We promote systemic change. We prefer to work at the local level where we can make the greatest difference. It is also at that level that individuals and communities can have the biggest impact in shaping their own futures and contribute nation wide systemic change. Voluntas is proud that virtually all of its projects were initiated in response to requests from our partners in local communities and organisations which defined their needs, aspirations and desired outcomes... Voluntas believes in the right of every child to have the opportunity, regardless of the conditions of his or her life, to realise his or her full potential. We work with children whose lives have been limited by disability and poor family environment. Voluntas' efforts prevent institutionalisation of disadvantaged and differently abled-children.
